What our clients say, in their own words
Honest accounts from the individuals who've worked with Stonemarch — shared with their permission, and in the spirit of transparency that we try to bring to every session.

"I'd been putting off looking at my finances for years — just the idea of sitting down with all the numbers felt overwhelming. The Clarity Session made that manageable. My adviser walked me through everything methodically and I left with a document that actually made sense of it. I was surprised how much I felt better about things just from having a clear picture."
"The Decade Planning Advisory was a significant investment and I thought about it for a while before committing. It was the right decision. Working through six sessions gave me a level of clarity about my financial trajectory that I simply didn't have before. The milestone calendar has become something I refer to regularly."
"I chose the Spending Framework service because I'd tried budgeting several times and it never lasted more than a few months. What made this different was starting from what I actually valued — not from a template. My adviser was patient and didn't make me feel judged about my spending history. The framework itself is something I've been using for six months now."
"What I valued most was that nobody was trying to sell me anything. Every other financial conversation I'd had in Bangkok eventually came back to a product. Stonemarch was genuinely different — the session was just about understanding my situation. The Financial Snapshot document was clear and useful."
"As someone who moved to Bangkok five years ago, I'd been managing finances across two countries without a clear system. The Decade Planning sessions helped me build something coherent for the first time. Thomas was excellent at understanding the cross-border complexity without making it feel more complicated than it needed to be."
"I appreciated the pace. My previous attempts at financial planning always felt rushed — like I had to keep up with someone else's agenda. Araya let the sessions move at a pace that felt right and never pushed me to move faster than I was ready to. The spending framework we built together fits my life rather than someone else's idea of what my life should look like."
Three client journeys in detail
No picture of the whole
A mid-career professional earning a comfortable income had never formally assessed her full financial position. She had savings in multiple accounts, an investment property, and a pension she hadn't reviewed in years — but no way of seeing the whole picture at once.
Financial Clarity Session
A single session mapping all income streams, regular outgoings, asset valuations, and liabilities into the one-page Financial Snapshot format. The session identified three priorities she hadn't previously considered.
Clarity within one session
She described the result as "finally being able to see my finances in one place." Within two months of the session, she had addressed two of the three priorities from the document. She later enrolled in the Decade Planning Advisory.
Spending that didn't reflect values
An entrepreneur in his early thirties had a solid income but felt he was spending without intention — not in ways that were obviously reckless, but in ways that left him feeling like he wasn't moving toward anything. He'd tried standard budgeting apps with limited success.
Sustainable Spending Framework
Three sessions covering values mapping, lifestyle cost calibration, and the construction of a personalised spending framework tied to the things he actually wanted his money to support over the next decade.
A framework that held
Nine months after the program, he reported still using the framework — the longest any budgeting system had lasted for him. "The difference was it was built around what I care about, not around what someone else thought I should do with my money."
No structure for the decade ahead
An expatriate couple in Bangkok — both in their mid-forties — had strong combined earnings but no coherent financial plan for the years leading to their intended return to the UK. Asset accumulation was happening, but without targets or sequencing.
Decade Planning Advisory
Six sessions building a ten-year projection covering combined income trajectories, asset accumulation targets (including cross-border property), milestone sequencing around a planned return, and a recalibration framework for annual review.
A decade plan that travels
The couple described the milestone calendar as "the first time we've both been looking at the same map." They used the annual recalibration framework twelve months later and noted the plan had remained closely on track — despite one significant income change during the year.
